This Gas cylinder also Fits ALL OLDER Chattanooga Ergo Elevation Tables and Chattanooga Ergo Fexion Tables.

This cylinder is 500 N pressure rating works on the pelvic elevation & Breakaway chest cylinder replacement...The cervical tilt is a lower 250N pressure...

You will be shipped a NEW Longer Bolt and Spacers to allow proper Pivot. Lock Nut should be Loose to allow pivot also..... - SEE 2nd picture

The installation of the Chattanooga Breakaway Gas Cylinder is a Easy to Medium replacement.

Breakaway Adjustment for Raising By Itself

1. Extend Breakaway Chest all the way up
2. Loosen Jam Nut
3. Turn Shaft Counter clockwise 1/4 Turn
4. Check for Lock If still slipping turn another 1/4 Round till it doesn't slip, but still locks and unlocks.
5. Tighten Lock Nut back down


Breakaway Adjustment for Not Releasing
1. Loosen Jam Nut
2. Turn Shaft Clockwise 1/4 Turn
3. Check for Lock / Unlock .
4.If not unlocking turn another 1/4 Round till it still locks and unlocks , but doesn't slip.
5. Tighten Lock Nut back down
